Shophouse @ Gemmill Lane

Completion 2000

3 Storey shophouse with an attic. The Gemmill Lane is a reinterpretation of the contemporary shophouse typology featuring unprecedented use of pigmented precast concrete panels in an enveloped controlled conservation site. The façade is made up of interlocking pre-cast panels to create an abstract assemblage of forms, colours and texture. This effect is reminiscent to the traditional shophouse typology, allowing for organic programmatic spaces.
